AI Services
Alongside token-billed models, Primex resells outcome-based AI
services, including document OCR, image analysis, translation, text analysis, summarization, and content
safety, plus server-side built-in tools (web search, code execution). They use
the same prx- key and the same post-paid, failed-request-protected billing, but are
metered per outcome (per page, per image, per character, per record, per call) rather
than per token.
Availability and pricing are dynamic. Do not hard-code a service list or rate; read the live catalogue before building a picker.
Provider-run web search is enabled; Code Interpreter, image-generation, and file-search built-ins are gated until their metering contracts are qualified. See Built-in Tools.
Use these services through their API endpoints. Some are also available in the
Primex app Playground when their catalogue entry has playgroundEnabled: true.
Primex Chat's model picker handles chat and code models; Create handles image and
video generation. Those workspaces do not run document, language, or safety
service operations.

Service offerings appear in offerings with type: "AI_SERVICE" (built-in tools use
type: "TOOL"), each carrying a stable publicId, serviceType, billingUnit, and
current customerPricing. The authenticated GET /v1/models
endpoint returns ID-only lists and defaults to chat and code models; request a
specific service_type when an integration needs IDs for another type.
